Promoting the intersection of sports and schools
Serves for Scholars was started by a group of West Los Angeles community members who not only have an extensive history with racquet sports but also loved the idea of empowering young minds through both high-quality education programs and athletic opportunities.
Serves for Scholars saw an opportunity to use their passion for tennis to raise funds for public schools, helping to provide the resources that students need to succeed. They were also particularly intrigued by the growing popularity of pickleball, a new community sport that brought people together and fostered a sense of unity.
